PARTY ON THE PATIO CONCERT SERIES
Get ready to enjoy a fantastic lineup with some of Houston’s best known bands! The Fab 5 kicks off the first Party on the Patio concert of the season at Colonial Park on June 1. Sponsored by Direct Energy and benefitting Friends of West University Place Parks Fund, Inc., concerts will be held on four consecutive Fridays in June from 7:00-9:00 PM on the Colonial Park Deck, 4130 Byron. Blankets and lawn chairs are permitted, and concessions will be available for purchase. Party on the Patio is a complimentary concert event for West U Residents and their guests. Independence Bike Parade
Kids of all ages are invited to participate in the Independence Day Bike Parade. Decorate bicycles, tricycles and wagons! The parade lines up on University Blvd., in front of the West U Elementary at 8:45am, Wednesday, July 4th. The parade begins promptly at 9:00am proceeds west on University, turns south on Academy, then heads west on Byron to Colonial Park, 4130 Byron St. There will be plenty of food (West U Rotary fundraiser), fun, and festivities for everyone to enjoy.
