Yoga

Promotes flexibility, balance and inner calm by coordinating breath and movement.

When: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m.

Tai Chi 

Exercise that tones, strengthens, and improves balance and posture. Greg hopes to resume his indoor classes at the Community Building soon. Call the 713.662.5895 for details.

Water Aerobics

These classes are a great way to get in shape without the impact on your joints by doing exercises out of the pool.

Zumba

Chair Volleyball

More fun than you can possibly stand, while seated.  Come enjoy this fun-filled game played with a beach ball.

Line Dance

Learn the steps in this fun class that will put a smile on your face and a kick in your step.

Best Stretch

In this class you will do a combination of exercise techniques that include, Pilates, Yoga, Deep Breathing and Stretching.

Mat Pilates

Body awareness gained strength, flexibility and focal attention training allows you to perform everyday activities with more ease and safety. Look and feel better with improved posture. Performed sitting, standing, kneeling and lying prone and supine on the floor. Participant supplies their own thick Pilates mat.

Hatha Yoga

Foundational Hatha Yoga promotes flexibility, balance and inner calm by coordinating breath and movement. Bring yoga blocks for added benefits.

Body Pump

This standing and sitting combo will increase your heart rate and get you feeling energized and accomplished. West U Residents Only

Stay Strong/Total Body

This class will help you stay healthy and strong while making you feel mentally and physically well. We will focus on stretching, core strength, balance, cognitive skills and very modified speed and agility training in conjunction with functional training without weights.

Open Tai Chi

This instructor-less class is designed for those interested in warming up for the Tai Chi class or practicing their skills in an open space.
