As part of the Phase I initiative to re-open Texas, the City of West University Tennis Courts will re-open on May 1. Per directives from the state, which was outlined in Governor Abbott’s executive order GA-18, individuals may engage in outdoor sports, provided that the sports do not include contact with other participants, and no more than four participants per court at any time - no spectators.
All memberships have been reactivated and were extended to compensate for the closure.
Reservations will only be facilitated online at westutx.gov/reg until further notice and will follow standard rules and regulations. Access to the reservation system will be available starting April 29 at 7:00 am providing residents the ability to make reservations beginning May 1.
Reminder: Walk-on play may continue for no more than 30 minutes when other West U residents are waiting to use the court when no reservations are in force. Walk-on users should be prepared to show proof of residency. If a resident has a reservation confirmation, all walk-on play must cease at the time stated on the reservation receipt.
