If your car is parked in violation of motor vehicle or traffic laws of the state, including the Texas Transportation Code, enforcement officers will have the discretion to issue notices, warnings or citations.
Please note: Courtesy notices and warning tickets are at the complete discretion of the ticket writer. In the event of an immediate or impending danger to public safety, a ticket may be issued for the violation upon first notice, or the vehicle may be towed. For reference, please see a sample

The Parking Etiquette Program is the result of months of studying on-street parking issues within city limits. Residents have voiced their concerns regarding the current state of on-street parking and their suggestions for improvement. Residents made it clear that they didn’t want sweeping changes to current street parking regulations, but rather wanted violators to be handled on a case-by-case basis.
