What parking violations are included in the Parking Etiquette Program?

The most common parking violations for which a driver could receive a ticket include the following:

  • Parked over 18 inches from curb
  • Parked on a sidewalk or crosswalk
  • Parked in front of a driveway
  • Parked within 15 feet of a fire hydrant
  • Parked within 20 feet of a crosswalk
  • Parked within 20 feet of an intersection
  • Parked within 30 feet of a stop sign
  • Parked within 30 feet of approach to signal
  • Parked in excess of 72 hours
  • Parked facing wrong way

The violations listed above are not comprehensive. Courtesy notices and warning tickets are at the complete discretion of the ticket writer.
