The Facilities Maintenance Division maintains all City-owned facilities. The Division has established and maintains a regular and proactive maintenance schedule for all the facilities in order to minimize disruptions to the other City Departments and the services they provide to residents.
Facilities Maintenance is responsible for 14 municipal buildings which cover approximately 100,000 square feet.
Responsibilities include:
- Access Controls
- All HVAC system diagnostic and maintenance (i.e. chillers, air handlers, spit systems, etc)
- All interior and exterior building maintenance
- Contract Management
- Elevator inspection and maintenance
- Emergency generator maintenance
- Fire panel and sprinkler system maintenance
- Janitorial Service
- Project management for various City projects
- Electrical and lighting systems
- Painting
- Pest control management
- Plumbing
The Division also assists in the management and coordination of long-term capital and facility improvement needs by reviewing and recommending facility standards.
