Huffington Park Project

Huffington Park Improvements are completed.

The West University Place Parks and Recreation Department hosted a ribbon cutting celebration on Thursday, August 26 to unveil the new improvements made at Huffington Park, 6204 College.

Improvements include a new ship play structure, expanded green space and artificial turf areas, two expression swings, powder coated fencing, new wooden fencing on the south side of the park, repainting of light poles and swing set posts, and West U’s first rubber capped sidewalk that winds throughout the entire park!

Improvements were funded through the generosity of the Friends of West University Parks Fund. For more information on Friends, and all they do for West U’s parks and greenspaces, visit www.westuparks.org for more information.
