Warrant Service 

An officer observed a disable vehicle in the 6000 block of Kirby. During further investigation it was discovered that the owner of the vehicle had 3 active warrants with West University Place Police Department. The suspect was taken into custody for the warrants

Virtual Gate Hit

The virtual gate systems altered officer to a stolen vehicle traveling in the 3200 block of Bellaire. A high risk traffic stop was completed on the vehicle in the 6800 block of Academy. The driver (Cedric Devall Kiser) was ultimately taken into custody for unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Possession of a Dangerous Drug 

Possession of a Controlled Substance x8

Auto Theft

An officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of University for the theft of a motor vehicle that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown person(s) took the victims vehicle without consent.

The virtual gate systems altered officer to a stolen vehicle traveling in the 4200 block of Bellaire. A high risk traffic stop was completed on the vehicle in the 3700 block of Bellaire. The driver (Chontez Johnson) was ultimately taken into custody for unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The Driver Does not have any previous criminal history.

An officer was performing a traffic stop in the 2700 block of University. During, the traffic stop it was discovered the suspect was in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

An officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of University in reference to Found Property. Upon arrival, the officer took custody of the item for safe keeping.

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Marquette in reference to a fraud that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect had access to the victim’s credit card information and made fraudulent transactions without consent.

Burglary of a residence

An officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Mercer for a burglary that has already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered two unknown suspects had made entry into the victim’s residence taking the victims items without permission.
