The Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to share that the Edloe Street Pathway Project will be going out to bid in early September for construction services. The successful bidder will be recommended for approval by City Council at its regular meeting on Monday, October 10. Improvements to the pathway are anticipated to be completed by January 2023.
Notable changes to the concept drawings presented after the February 28 City Council meeting:
- Due to visibility concerns, a number of ornamental trees were removed.
- To preserve trees along the concrete wall bordering Tiny’s #5, ornamental steel fence will be used.
- The trail alignment and plantings were slightly revised.
