9/26/2023 10:10 a.m. - Annapolis St. has been reopened however, the right westbound lane of W. Holcombe Blvd. remains closed as CenterPoint crews continue to make repairs.

9/25/2023 4:25 p.m. - CenterPoint crews have shut off the gas and continue working to make repairs. The 6700 block of Annapolis remains closed as well the right westbound lane of W. Holcombe Blvd.
Some residents who live on Annapolis Ct. will be without gas until the repairs are completed.
Drivers should continue to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

9/25/2023 2:10 p.m. - The West University Place Fire Department has blocked off the 6700 block of Annapolis St. between Cason St. and W. Holcombe Blvd. due to a gas leak. CenterPoint is on scene working on repairs. The Fire Department and CenterPoint are monitoring air quality. No immediate action is necessary.
Drivers should avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
