10/23/2023 3:34 p.m. - The suspect has been apprehended. The 6700 block of Stella Link remains closed due to the incident.

10/23/2023 3:14 p.m. - A Houston Police Department vehicle pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended in a major accident at the intersection of Bellaire Blvd. and Stella Link Rd. The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene on foot and an active police perimeter has been established in the area of 6700 Stella Link, 3900 Ruskin, 6700 W. College.
The suspect is described as an African American male last seen wearing a white shirt.
