Terroristic Threats 

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to a terroristic threat that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered the victim had received several threatening messages from an ex-employee.

Virtual Gate Hit 

Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Amherst regarding a virtual gate hit involving a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a high-risk traffic stop. All occupants of the vehicle were detained without incident. The driver, Datavius Elder, and passenger, Samuel Hill, were taken into custody and charged with theft. The driver also had an outstanding felony arrest warrant which was confirmed. 

The driver has criminal history for the following: 

Criminal Trespass

Burglary with Intent to Commit Other Felony X2

The passenger has no criminal history.

Criminal Mischief 

An officer was dispatched to the 6200 block of Kirby regarding a criminal mischief that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect had broken a window to the victim’s vehicle without consent. It was determined the suspect never entered the vehicle and no items were taken.

Minor Accident-FSGI

An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Wroxton in reference to a minor accident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown operator of a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle causing damage. The suspect vehicle fled the scene failing to stop and give information.

Tampering with a Government Record 

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6400 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, the officer could smell an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of a fictitious temporary paper license plate. The driver, Alan Kam Siguem, was taken into custody and charged with tampering with a government document. The driver has no criminal history.

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Milton regarding an identity theft incident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect used the victim’s personal information to open an account without consent.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6100 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from or about the driver. A field sobriety test was completed and the driver, Rafael Campos Jr., was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. The driver has no criminal history

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Sunset. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.

Officers were dispatched to the 6500 block of Community Dr. regarding a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect had forcefully taken equipment from a worker at a job site and then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6700 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, the officer could smell an odor of marijuana emanating from or about the vehicle.  This led to a probable cause search, during which various types of narcotics were found.     The driver faces charges for possession of a controlled substance, pending further testing of the narcotics. Additionally, the driver was arrested on eight outstanding warrants.

An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Werlein in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect had removed items from the bed of a truck without consent.
