7/17/2024 at 4:40 p.m. - Tomorrow, July 18, the City’s third-party vendor will continue their operations in Zone 1 and Zone 2. After the first collection day, crews collected over 423 cubic yards of debris, which included cutting and removing 154 hazardous tree limbs in the public right-of-way. As they continue their efforts in Zone 1 and Zone 2, it is imperative that residents do not park on the street, especially vehicles blocking storm related debris piles. City staff are working with the vendor to make contact with homeowners who have vehicles on the street but unsuccessful attempts to make contact could delay this process and may cause collection piles to be skipped and collected during the second citywide collection in a couple of weeks.

As a reminder:
- This will be the first of two passes for citywide collection. The second pass will be conducted in the coming weeks to ensure residents have time to remove all storm debris from their property.
- Crews will not remove debris or trim trees on private property.

- Depending on the amount of storm debris in each zone, crews could be in one zone longer or shorter than another.

Please note that the same truck will not pick up both tree debris and construction debris. Two separate trucks will handle these pickups to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Tree Debris Pickup: Place tree debris in separate piles in the right-of-way for collection. Ensure that the debris is not obstructing roadways or sidewalks.
