DWI/ Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Kirby Dr. Upon contact, the officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver, who also displayed signs of intoxication. A field sobriety test was administered and the driver, Anthony Shea, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. The driver was additionally charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon after a firearm was located within the vehicle. 

 

Anthony Shea has no previous criminal history in Harris County.

Assault 

Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Sunset in reference to an assault in progress. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an ex-employee assaulted the victim causing injuries. The suspect, Rogers Washington, was arrested and charged with assault. 

 

Rogers Washington has no criminal history in Harris County.

Burglary of a Residence 

An officer was dispatched to the 3200 block of Robinhood in reference to a burglary of a residence that already occurred. Upon arrival, officers searched for the property for suspects, but none were located. Through investigation it was discovered an unknown suspect entered the residence taking items without consent.

Warrant Service

An officer initiated a traffic stop in the 6200 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, it was found that the driver had an outstanding warrant with another agency. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail for processing.

Assault 

Officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Bellaire in reference to an assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers separated both individuals. Through investigation, it was discovered that a suspect, Kimberly Harvey, assaulted an individual causing injury. The suspect was arrested and charged with Assault-Bodily Injury. 

 

Kimberly Harvey has no previous criminal history in Harris County.

An officer was dispatched to meet with an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding municipal warrants through West U. Upon arrival, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the West U Jail for processing.

An officer initiated a traffic stop in the 5800 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contacting the driver, it was found that the driver had an outstanding municipal warrant with West U. The driver was taken into custody and transported to jail for processing.

An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Sunset in reference to found property. Upon arrival, the officer obtained the property and was able to identify owner. The items were taken to the police department for safe keeping until the owner was able to retrieve the items.

An officer was dispatched to the 3500 block of Nottingham in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle taking items without consent.

Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the 6700 block of Stella Link regarding a reported theft. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim had mailed a package to a recipient, and upon delivery, the package had been tampered with and some items were missing. The victim later discovered that two individuals were attempting to sell the stolen items at a local convention, prompting a police investigation.

An officer conducted a welfare check on a driver who was asleep behind the wheel at the intersection of Buffalo Speedway and W. Holcombe. Upon contact, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and observed signs of intoxication. The driver was administered a field sobriety test and taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. During the stop, a firearm was located in the vehicle, resulting in an additional charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon.
