The virtual gate systems alerted an officer to a vehicle listed with warrants traveling in the 5900 block of Weslayan, where a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle in the 3900 block of Purdue. Through investigation it was discovered the suspect driving the vehicle had outstanding warrants. The suspect was taken into custody.

An officer was dispatched to the 5600 block of Kirby in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered a secured vehicle and removed items without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the 5500 block of Kirby in reference to a fraud in progress. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect attempted to use a fake driver’s license to withdraw funds without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Sewanee in reference to an identity theft that had already occurred.  Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect gained access to the victim’s identity and used their personal information to open an account without consent.

Warrant Service
An officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of Richmond Parkway in reference to an officer from an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding warrants with the West University Place Police Department.  Upon arrival, the officer obtained custody of the subject and was transferred to West University Place Jail for booking.
