| An officer with the West University Place Police Department observed a vehicle traveling in the 4100 block of Bissonnet displaying a license plate belonging to a different vehicle that was also cancelled. A traffic stop was conducted and after further investigation, both occupants were arrested on outstanding municipal warrants. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen out of Florida and a subsequent inventory yielded multiple fictitious driver licenses, fraudulent financial documents and a handgun. Both occupants were charged with Tampering with Government Records and the driver additionally with Unlawful Carrying Weapon.
