An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5600 block of Academy for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the driver, the officer could smell an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A probable cause search yielded to the discovery of 3.85lbs of crystal meth and 6 grams of marijuana. Upon further investigation, officers discovered the vehicle's VIN had been switched and the vehicle was reported stolen. Ultimately, all four occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and charged with manufactory/delivery of a controlled substance. Additionally the driver of the vehicle was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
