| | Officers were alerted to a hit on the virtual gate camera system in regards to a stolen vehicle. The located and traffic stop was initiated in the 3900 block of Bellaire. Through investigation it was discovered that the actual vehicle was not stolen, but the license plate displayed on the vehicle was connected to a stolen car. The license plate was removed from the vehicle and the driver was released.

| An officer observed a vehicle conduct a traffic violation while traveling in the 5300 block of Kirby. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 2600 block of Bissonnet. The suspect vehicle refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated, but ended after officers lost sight of the vehicle. Through investigation, Officers were able to identify, locate, and arrest the suspect (Christopher Mendoza) for evading. |
