Upon arrival, it was discovered two individuals knocked on the resident’s door posing as a home repair company soliciting for business. While one individual distracted the homeowner outside the second individual entered the resident’s home with intent to take items. The homeowner realized the situation and confronted the individuals forcing them to leave the property. |

9.22.22 11:16 AM | 22-0491 | Fraud | An Officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Mercer in regards to a fraudulent incident that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown person(s) gained access to an on-line airline account changing the flight itinerary without consent. |
9.22.22 4:17 PM | 22-0492 | Theft | An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in regards to a theft incident that had already occurred. The victim said an unknown person(s) took items from their home without consent. |
9.22.22 6:37 PM | 22-0493 | Identity Theft | An Officer was dispatched to the 6000 block of Rutgers in regards to an Identity Theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect withdrew funds from the victim’s bank account without consent. |
9.23.22 12:54 AM | 22-0494 | Public Intoxication | An Officer conducted a welfare check on a vehicle located in the 5300 block of Sewanee. After further investigation, Officers discovered the occupant of the vehicle displayed signs of intoxication. The occupant of the vehicle was arrested for Public Intoxication without incident. The occupant (Alberto Martinez) has no previous criminal history. |
9.23.22 5:07 PM | 22-0495 | Recovery of a Vehicle | Officers were dispatched to a virtual gate camera systems alert regarding a stolen vehicle hit at Gramercy and Braes Blvd. The officer’s located the unoccupied parked vehicle in the 3800 block of Bellaire. The officer’s confirmed the vehicle was stolen and had the vehicle towed to storage for safe keeping. |
9.23.22 11:31 PM | 22-0496 | Drug Paraphernalia | An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Cason in regards to a medical call. Upon arrival, the officer observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. An individual was cited for the drug paraphernalia and the items were confiscated. |
9.24.22 10:53 AM | 22-0504 | Minor Accident/ FSGI | An Officer was dispatch to the 2600 block of Wroxton in reference to a minor accident that had already occurred. The officer arrived and met with the victim, who stated an unknown person struck their vehicle and left without giving any information. |
09.24.22 5:18 PM | 22-0497 | Suspicious Person | Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Bellaire in regards to a suspicious person. Upon arrival and through investigation it was discovered the individual had an outstanding warrant and was subsequently taken into custody. |
9.24.22 4:47 PM | 22-0498 | Virtual Gate | Officers were notified through the virtual gate camera systems alert for a vehicle possibly being involved in a burglary of a motor vehicle through Houston Police Department. After searching the area, the vehicle was located in the 3800 block of Bellaire Blvd with two subjects. A traffic stop was conducted resulting in a probable cause search, which led to the discovery of government documents. Officers contacted Harris County District Attorney’s Office who declined to accept charges for possession of identifying information and the individuals were released from the scene. |
9.24.22 9:23 PM | 22-0499 | Unlawful Possession of a Firearm | An officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 6300 block of Weslayan with expired vehicle registration. A traffic stop was conducted and after further investigation, three handguns were located inside the vehicle along with illegal narcotics. The driver (Theo Milton) was charged with Violation of Protective Order and the passenger (Ryan Hurley) with Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon. 9.25.22 2:05 PM | 22-0501 | Identity Theft | An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Emory to meet with a resident in regards to an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect opened several lines of credit using the victim’s identity without consent. |
9.26.22 4:41 PM | 22-0502 | Warrant Service | An officer was to meet with an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding warrants with the West University Place Police Department. Upon arrival, it was discovered the individual was able to pay all fines affiliated with the warrants and was subsequently released from custody. |
9.27.22 12:13 PM | 22-0503 | Virtual Gate | Officers were dispatched to the area of Buffalo Speedway & Grammercy for a virtual gate camera systems alert for a vehicle displaying a stolen plate. Officers located the vehicle matching the virtual gate hit in the 3800 block of Tartan. Officers conducted a traffic stop and through investigation officers were able to confirm the plate was stolen. The license plate on the vehicle was recovered. |
