West University Place residents are encouraged to join the city’s efforts in recycling paper, and other household items to avoid contributing to the landfill. The curbside collection will take place at the Public Works Administration Office on Saturday, November 4 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The following items will be accepted:
- Paper (limited to 5 banker boxes per household)
- Mattresses
- E-Waste, which includes computers, laptops, printers, DVD players, and game consoles
- Household metals such as cookware, faucets, metal furniture, sinks, etc.
- Hazardous household waste such as chemicals, paint, and batteries are not accepted at this collection event.
