Tomorrow is the day! The Centennial Celebration Festival will begin at 4:00 p.m. at Colonial Park. Please note that crews will be at the park setting up for the event beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. The green space at Colonial Park will be unavailable during this time however amenities such as the playground, Youth Fitness Challenge Course, and tennis courts will remain open. The 4100 blocks of Byron Street and Case Street will experience a total closure from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to ensure the safety of pedestrians attending the festival. In addition, there will be no parking permitted along Academy Street directly adjacent to Colonial Park. Please exercise extra caution while driving in the area to ensure the safety of pedestrians entering and leaving the festival.
