Warrant Arrest 

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6500 block of Buffalo Speedway. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the driver in the vehicle had outstanding warrants and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was taken into custody and transferred to Harris County Jail.

An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Bissonnet in regard to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown person(s) forced entry into the victim's secure vehicle and took personal belongings without consent.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6800 block of Buffalo Speedway. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the driver showed signs of intoxication. The driver (Chad Korengay) was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. 

The driver (Chad Kornegay) has no previous criminal history.

Traffic Stop 

An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Plumb. After further investigation, it was discovered the temporary tag on the vehicle was fictitious. The driver (Anthony Lopez Carrasco) was taken into custody for Tampering with Government Records.

The driver (Anthony Lopez Carrasco) has no previous criminal history.

An officer was patrolling the 2900 block of Carnegie, when the officer observed a dome light on in a vehicle. Upon approach to the vehicle, it was discovered the vehicle was rummaged through. It was determined the vehicle had been burglarized by an unknown suspect.

An officer was flagged down in the 3800 block of Milton in regard to found property.  An officer arrived and took possession of the item for safekeeping.

An officer met with an outside agency to pick up a subject for outstanding municipal warrants with the West University Place Police Department. Upon arrival, the officer obtained custody of the subject who was then transferred to the West University Place Jail for booking.

An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Fenwood in regard to an identity theft incident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect had the victims personal information to open a bank account without consent.

Assault 

Officers were dispatched to 6300 block of Belmont regarding an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that two individuals were engaging in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation. The Harris county district attorney’s office declined to press charges on this case. Both individuals were separated and released from the scene.
