Traffic Stop 

An officer observed a vehicle commit several traffic violations in the 4000 block of Bissonnet Street. The Officer then attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop. A vehicle pursuit ensued for several minutes and ultimately ended in the 4100 block of Childress Street, where the occupants abandoned the vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the occupants after an extensive search.

Lost Property 

An officer was dispatched to the 3900 block of Amherst in regard to lost property. Upon arrival, it was discovered the individual had misplaced a valuable item and has not been able to locate it. Information was collected and a report for lost property was generated.

DWI

Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Sunset, regarding a possible drunk driver. The vehicle was located and during the investigation, the driver showed signs of being intoxicated and was in possession of a controlled substance. The driver (Dolores Fragoso) was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

The driver (Dolores Fragoso) has no previous criminal history.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6400 block of Belmont. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Warrant Service 

An officer met with an outside agency to pick up a subject for outstanding municipal warrants with the West University Place Police Department. Upon arrival, the officer obtained custody of the subject who was then transferred to the West University Place Jail for booking.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5900 block of Buffalo Speedway. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the suspect was in Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Suspicious Person 

WUPD officers checked by with the Southside Police Department, who was responding to a report of two individuals trespassing on a property. While WUPD was in route to the area, the officer observed two individuals matching the description walking in the 3800 block of University Blvd. Upon attempting to make contact, the individuals fled on foot. Officers conducted a search of the area, located both suspects, and arrested them. They were charged with evading arrest.

Suspect #1: Identified as Judon Collins, whose criminal history in Harris County includes:

Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance (3 counts), Theft (4 counts), Criminal Mischief, Resisting Arrest, Assault (2 counts), Escape

Suspect #2: Identified as Mary Crane, whose criminal history in Harris County includes:

Unauthorized Absence from a Community Corrections Facility/County Correctional Center (2 counts), Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Trespass, Burglary of a Vehicle, Evading Arrest or Detention, Theft

Forgery 

An officer was dispatched to the 6600 block of Mercer in regard to a forgery that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect used the victim's credit card without consent.

Public Intoxication 

Officers were dispatched to the 6100 block of Wakeforest in regard to a vehicle stopped in the moving lane of traffic. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. After further investigation, it was discovered the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. The driver (Amanda Almendarez) was taken into custody and charged with Public Intoxication. 

The driver (Amanda Almendarez) has no previous criminal history.
