Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect forged checks and cashed them from the victims checking account under different names without consent. |
08/30/2025 12:13 PM | 25-0493 | Warrant Service | An officer was dispatched to meet with an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding municipal warrants through WUPD. Upon arrival, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the West U Jail for processing. |
08/30/2025 05:38 pm | 25-0494 | Criminal Trespass/ Resisting Arrest | An officer was dispatched to the block of 5500 Kirby in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the suspect refused to leave a place of business when asked. The suspect Consuela Berry-Robinson refused to be transported in the rear of the police car and resisted officer’s orders. Once safely detained, Berry-Robinson was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Trespassing and Resisting Arrest.

Upon arrival, it was discovered suspect(s) damaged the victim’s backyard. The officer found no evidence leading to a possible burglary of the residence. |
09/01/2025 12:50 AM | 25-0497 | Possession of Drug Paraphernalia | An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6700 block of Brompton for a vehicle with a defective license plate light. Upon contacting the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver was detained while a probable cause search was conducted and led to the discovery of marijuana. The driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Valid Registration and released.

09/01/2025 08:03 AM | 25-0498 | Warrant Service/ Criminal Mischief/ Resisting Arrest | An officer was dispatched to meet with an outside agency who had a subject detained with outstanding municipal warrants through WUPD. Upon arrival, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the West U Jail for processing. During transportation and in the jail, the arrestee Adekunle Adekoya started to actively resist being detained damaging city property. With the help of other officers, Adekoya was booked and placed into a cell with charges of Criminal Mischief and Resisting Arrest/Transportation.
