Beginning on Wednesday, January 28, the City's contractor will conduct maintenance repairs to the roadway pavers along Buffalo Speedway. This work will require temporary lane closures at several intersections. Crews will work in phases to reduce impacts and keep traffic moving as safely as possible. Inclement weather could postpone work activities to the following day.
What to Expect:
Wednesday, January 28: The northbound right lane of Buffalo Speedway will be closed from the Holcombe Boulevard intersection through the Sunset Boulevard intersection. Once work in the right lane is complete, traffic will shift to the northbound left lane so repairs can continue.
Thursday, January 29: The southbound right lane will be closed from the Sunset Boulevard intersection through the University Boulevard intersection. After right-lane repairs are finished, traffic will shift to the southbound left lane.
Friday, January 30: The southbound left-turn lane at the Sunset Boulevard intersection will be closed. Crews will also complete repairs to the west crosswalk at the University Boulevard intersection.
Traffic & Safety:
Arrow boards, traffic barrels, directional arrows, and signage will be placed at each closure to help guide drivers safely through the work area. Drivers should expect some delays and follow all posted signs.
