Expired Registration/ Failure to Provide Identification/ Possession Drug Paraphernalia/ Obscured License Plate

An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Robinhood. Upon contacting the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver and the passengers were detained while a probable cause search was conducted and led to the discovery of marijuana. All occupants were allowed to return to the vehicle and the driver was issued citation for Expired Registration, Failure to Provide Identification, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obscured License Plate.

Virtual Gate Hit

An officer was dispatched to the 5200 block of Buffalo Speedway in reference to a virtual gate license plate hit involving a person with outstanding felony warrants. The Officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. After further investigation, the driver Daling Isidro Herrera Aviles was placed in custody for felony warrants.  

Darling Isidro Herrera Aviles does not have a previous criminal history with Harris County.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5600 block of Buffalo Speedway in reference to a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver Xandra Garcia was unable to provide a reason for traveling over the posted speed limit. Garcia was taken into custody and charged with Reckless Driving. 

Xandra Garcia does not have a previous criminal history with Harris County.

Evading/ Possession of Controlled Substance/ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/ Speeding/ Violation of Driver’s License Restrictions

An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 6700 block of Buffalo Speedway in reference to a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle initially stopped but then accelerated as the officer approached. The driver then stopped the vehicle in the 3200 block of Bellafontaine. The driver Brianna Argil was detained for questioning and a probably search was conducted. Upon investigation, it was discovered that driver was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Brianna Argil was issued citations for Speeding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, DL- Violating Driver’s License Restrictions, and charged with Evading and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

Brianna Argil does not have a previous criminal history with Harris County.
