An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in regard to an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect hacked the victim's email and compromised personal accounts without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the 4100 block of Albans in regard to an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect posing as technical support for a bank, gained remote access to the victim's bank accounts. Subsequently, they transferred funds from the victim's account without consent.

Virtual Gate 

An officer was dispatched to the 6800 block of Buffalo Speedway in regard to a virtual gate camera system alert regarding a stolen license plate. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of Southwest Freeway. The driver was discovered to be in Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. The driver (Daymond Lewis) was taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

The driver (Daymond Lewis) has no previous criminal records.
