Theft

An officer was dispatched to the 5800 block of Kirby in reference to a theft that had already happened. Upon arrival it was discovered a suspect stole an item from a business without consent. The suspect Brandon Logan was located at the 2600 block of Sunset where the suspect was taken into custody for theft and transported to the West U jail for processing.  

 

Brandon Logan has previous history of Possession of Controlled Substance with Harris County.

An officer was dispatched to the 4100 block of Cason in reference to a minor accident. An unknown vehicle struck the victim’s unattended vehicle and left the scene without providing the information required by law.

Public Intoxication

An officer was flagged down in the 5300 block of Rutgers in reference to an unconscious male located in the 3200 block of Bissonnet. Upon arrival, the officer found Decarlo Garcia asleep in the bushes and sidewalk. The officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the individual upon contact. Signs of intoxication were evident, and the subject was taken into custody for public intoxication. 

Decarlo Garcia has no previous criminal history in Harris County.

Unlawful Carry of a Weapon

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of Kirby Drive. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of marijuana and a handgun.  The driver, Kory Carter was arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon. 

The driver has no previous criminal history in Harris County.

An officer was dispatched to the 6600 block of Buffalo Speedway in reference to a criminal mischief incident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect had damaged the window of the victim’s vehicle without consent.

A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued a citation; both the driver and passenger were released.
