Theft

An officer was dispatched to the 6700 block of Belmont in reference to a theft that had already happened. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect took an item from a neighbor’s house without consent. The suspect left packaging remains in a storm drain and fled the scene.

Public Intoxication/ Open Container/ Parking Facing Traffic

An officer conducted a traffic stop in reference to a vehicle stuck on a curb facing the opposite way of traffic in the 3900 block of Ruskin. Upon contact with the driver, it was observed that the driver showed signs of intoxication. Jose Ramon Hernandez was taken into custody and charged with Public Intoxication, Open Container, and Parking Facing Traffic.

An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Bissonnet. The officer observed the driver of the vehicle to be asleep. Upon wakening the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver was detained while a probable cause search was conducted and led to the discovery of marijuana. It was discovered that the driver had felony warrants, placed into custody and transported to the West U jail for processing.
