Officers were dispatched to the 6900 block of Stella Link in regard to a virtual gate camera system alert regarding a stolen license plate. Officers located the vehicle in the 5400 block of Weslayan, where a traffic stop was conducted. The driver was taken into custody for open warrants and the passenger was cited for drug paraphernalia. The license place confiscated for safekeeping.

Officers observed a stopped vehicle facing the opposite flow of traffic in the 4000 block of Bissonnet St. Officers conducted a welfare check and observed an individual to be asleep/unconscious behind the wheel. After further investigation, it was discovered the driver was intoxicated. The driver (Roberto Rodriguez) was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. 

The driver (Roberto Rodriguez) has previous criminal history of Driving While Intoxicated

The Officer located the individual and detained the individual without incident. After further investigation, the individual (Alexandro Puig) was placed in custody for Aggravated Assault.
