Criminal Trespass 

Officers responded to an in-progress residential burglary in the 3200 block of University Blvd. The resident reported being awakened by an unknown intruder who had entered their residence without consent. Officers responded promptly, locating the suspect still inside the residence. The suspect (Orlando Guevara) was apprehended without incident and charged with Criminal Trespass.

The suspect (Orlando Guevarra) has a criminal history of:

Assault

Bail Jumping/Fail to Appear Felony

Fail to Identify

Possession of Controlled Substance x2

Possession of Marijuana

Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the 5400 block of Buffalo Speedway in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown person(s) had removed an item from a construction site without consent.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Bissonnet. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the individual was intoxicated. The occupant (Jennifer Gomez Cuadra) was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication. 

The individual (Jennifer Gomez Cuadra) has no previous criminal history.

Officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of Rutgers in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered that two individuals had a verbal dispute and were separated for the evening.

An officer was dispatched to the 4100 block of Ruskin for an identity theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect used the victim’s personal information to attempt to open a financial account without consent.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in regard to a minor accident that had already occurred. The victim said an unknown person operating a vehicle struck their vehicle and left without giving any information.

Officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Nottingham in regard to a Suspicious Vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined the vehicle may have been involved in a previously reported incident through the Houston Police Department. The vehicle was turned over to the Houston Police Department for processing.

An officer performed a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Southwest FWY. Upon investigation, it was discovered the driver had open warrants and was in possession of a controlled substance. The driver (Daniel Romero) was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

An officer was dispatched to the 6500 block of Belmont in regard to a criminal mischief incident that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect caused damage to the victim’s residence without consent.

Virtual Gate 

Officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Academy in regard to a virtual gate camera system alert regarding a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle in the 4000 block of Gramercy, where a traffic stop was conducted. The driver (Billy Pack) was arrested and charged with the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Criminal Instruments.
