Failed to ID-Fugitive  

An officer conducted at a traffic stop in the 6500 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact and through investigation, it was discovered the driver provided a false name. The driver was identified as, Marissa Vessell, who had multiple outstanding warrants. The driver was arrested and charged with Failure to Identify-Fugitive. 

The driver has criminal history in Harris County for criminal mischief and possession of marijuana.

Auto Theft  

An officer was dispatched to the 3300 block of Albans regarding a reported auto theft. Upon arrival, the officer followed leads that successfully located the stolen vehicle and identified the individual responsible for taking it. The suspect, Lucus Mounts, was arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was released to the owner.

An officer was dispatched to the 6700 block of Rutgers in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered an unknown suspect took mail from a community mailbox without consent.

An officer was flagged down in the 5800 block of Auden in reference to a theft that just occurred. It was discovered an unknown suspect took items from a job site without consent.

Fraud 

An officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Brompton regarding a reported fraud. Upon investigation, it was revealed that an unknown suspect, posing as an investment company, had deceived the victim into providing personal account credentials under the pretense of protecting their funds. The suspect later transferred money from the investment account without the victim's consent.

An officer performed a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Bissonnet. Upon investigation, it was discovered the driver had an open warrant for their arrest. The driver was taken into custody for the open warrant.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department Lobby in reference to a minor accident that had already occurred. It was discovered an unknown suspect operating a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle causing damage. The suspect fled the scene without providing information as required by law.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to found property. The officer collected the item and placed it into evidence for safe-keeping.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Rice. Upon contact and through investigation, it was discovered the driver had multiple outstanding warrants. The driver was arrested for the warrants. An inventory of the vehicle led to the discovery of drugs. The driver, Trelon Rivers, was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance. 

The driver has criminal history in Harris County for possession of marijuana.
