03/21/25 01:10 AM | 25-0180 | Tampering with Evidence | Officers were conducting surveillance in response to several vehicle burglaries in the 2600-2700 block of Bissonnet St. During their observation, a vehicle matching the description of one involved in recent burglaries was spotted. The detectives noticed suspicious movements from the vehicle, consistent with burglary tactics, before the suspect vehicle fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Marked patrol units nearby quickly moved in and conducted a high-risk traffic stop. The driver, Lonnell House, was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence after burglary tools were discovered discarded at the scene, and additional tools were found inside the vehicle.
