Upon contact, it was observed that the suspect was unsteady on his feet and appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.

09/05/2025 03:58 PM | 25-0504 | Identity Theft | An officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to an identity theft incident that already occurred. Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown suspect used the victims personal information to open an account without consent. |
09/05/2025 08:35 PM | 25-0505 | Possession of Drug Paraphernalia | An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6400 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contacting the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The passenger provided the officer baggies containing marijuana. The driver and the passengers were detained while a probable cause search was conducted. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the passenger had a warrant. The passenger was taken into custody for her warrant and issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The driver was issued warnings regarding her vehicle and a citation for Child Restraint Laws. The driver and other passengers were released. |

Upon arrival, it was discovered the suspect was requested to leave by the business owner. The suspect Jerry Newman has previously been issued a Criminal Trespass on behalf of the business. Newman was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Trespassing.

After further investigation, the driver was taken into custody for expired registration, driving while license invalid and failure to maintain proof of financial responsibility. |
