It was discovered that the driver had outstanding warrants and was subsequently arrested and transported to the West U jail for processing. |
10/4/2025 12:26 AM | 25-0550 | Resisting Arrest | An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Bissonnet in reference to a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction. Upon contact, the driver refused to provide any identification and cooperate with the officer’s commands. The driver Elizabeth Do was placed into custody and transported to the West U jail for processing for Resisting Arrest.

10/5/2025 02:06 AM | 25-0551 | DWI | An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 5600 block of Buffalo Speedway. Upon contact with the driver, the officer saw signs of intoxication. A standard field sobriety test was initiated, and the driver Trinity Reedus was taken into custody and charged for Driving While Intoxicated.
Trinity Reedus has no previous criminal history with Harris County.

| 25-0553 | Virtual Gate Hit | An officer was dispatched to the intersection of Bissonnet and Kirby Dr. in reference to a virtual gate alert for a stolen license plate. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 5500 block of Kirby Dr. Upon contact and through investigation, it was confirmed that the license plate, which did not belong to the vehicle, was stolen, and the vehicle itself was also reported stolen. Additionally, drugs were located on scene. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office requested further investigation before accepting charges. Ultimately, the driver was arrested on outstanding warrants, and the passenger was released. To-be warrants are pending for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

10/06/2025 04:25 AM | 25-0554 | Failure to Identify Giving False Information | An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Amherst in reference to a vehicle displaying expired plates. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Both the driver and passenger were detained while a probable cause search was conducted which led to the discovery of marijuana. After further investigation, it was discovered the driver gave the Officer a fictitious name and date of birth to conceal his true identity from the Officer. The driver Ryan Lumpkins was placed in custody and was booked into the West University Place Police Department Jail.

10/07/2025 01:55 PM | 25-0557 | Credit Card Abuse | An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Fenwood regarding a credit card/debit card abuse which had already occurred. Upon investigation, it was found that an unknown suspect utilized the victims card that was on file with a financial service company to wire money to Mexico without consent. |
10/08/2025 10:54 PM | 25-0559 | Theft | An officer was dispatched to the 6600 block of Vanderbilt in reference to a burglary of a vehicle in progress. Upon investigation the victim was able to provide surveillance footage of the suspect and the vehicle. The officer located the suspects’ vehicle in the 8000 block of Buffalo Speedway and initiated a traffic stop which led to the arrest of Gumaro Lopez. Lopez was placed into custody and transported to the West U jail for processing for Attempted Theft of Auto Parts.
