22. Your request will be reviewed based on the below guidelines to determine if the TEMPORARY signs are warranted.
24. 1. The temporary no parking signs are utilized around construction sites ONLY.
26. 2. Signs can ONLY be placed at the residence that is located DIRECTLY ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE STREET FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE.
28. 3. No parking signs affect all vehicles (INCLUDING RESIDENT VEHICLES AND WILL BE ENFORCED EQUALLY AND FAIRLY).
30. 4. Construction sites are deemed as NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION.
32. 5. Evaluating officer may consider alternatives to the no parking signs to consider any potential traffic hazard situations.
34. The sign is the property of the City of West University Place, and it is understood that to remove, deface, or detach an official road sign or traffic control device is a criminal act, punishable by fine and/or imprisonment. Report any sign removals, damage, or theft by calling the West University Place Police at 713.668.0330
