Parks & Rec Mobile App
The Parks and Recreation staff have been diligently working to upgrade the recreation software, RecTrac, to better serve the needs of residents and customers. These upgrades included faster load times for making tennis and pickleball reservations, as well as new credit card machines that support tap-to-pay functionality.
The most exciting upgrade is that West U Parks & Recreation now has its very own app! Just in time for fall registration – your favorite classes, events, and updates right at your fingertips.
The app enables users to:
• Access and scan their membership card
• Check-in for private swim lessons
• Reserve Tennis/Pickleball courts
• Search and register for classes and programs
• Find information on West U Parks & Recreation
• Messaging channels to receive up-to-date news
Instructions
Once you open the app, you WILL NOT be prompted to log in.
- For ease, we suggest you click on the My Account button and select My Profile. It will then prompt you to log in to your account.
- You are now logged in and should not have to sign in again until you log out.
If you have never created an online account before, follow these steps.
- Click the button that says New User.
- You will be prompted to create a username and password and then enter your household information.
- Once that is complete, please allow 3–5 business days for your account to be confirmed by Parks & Recreation staff.
- Once your account is confirmed and activated, you then will be able to register for classes.
If you have an online account but may have forgotten your username or password, follow these steps.
- When you are prompted to sign in you can click on forgot password and it will send you an email.
- You will get an email that says this:
"Per your request we are emailing you your WebTrac User ID and a link to change your password.
Your WebTrac User ID is: lP6V6X6V0F12C362H3I
Please follow the following link to change your WebTrac password: Click Here To Reset Password"
- Copy the long string of #'s into the username box.
- Your USERNAME is that long string of numbers and letters - everyone's is different.
- Then change your password and you will be all set. Once you are in, you can EDIT your username to something normal, like a version of your name.
