6/28/24 01:06 AM | 24-0364 | BMV/Evading | Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Bissonnet St. in reference to two burglary of a vehicle incidents that had just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) made forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and removed property without the owner’s consent. Upon arriving in the area, officers located a vehicle leaving the area that matched the description of the suspect vehicle. Officers attempted to conduct a stop on the vehicle but it fled and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The suspect vehicle later became disabled and the two occupants fled on foot. Despite an extensive search, neither individual was located. The incident was referred to the Criminal Investigations Division for further investigation. |
