Duties & Responsibilities
The City Attorney is appointed by City Council. The City Attorney is responsible for:
- Drafting every ordinance proposed by the City Council
- Reviewing all contracts or other documents in which the city has interest
- Serving as the legal adviser to the city and counsel for the city and all its officers and departments in the conduct of city business
